Valentine "Sweets" Bar

In this new house we have a wet bar.
We don't really need a wet bar.
SO...
For most of the year it serves at the Coffee "Bar" for our guests (we don't even drink coffee!)
At Christmastime we had a Hot Chocolate Bar
For Valentine's we loaded it with sweets!
I bought Hershey Kisses with carmel inside and
add these little sticker embellishments from the Silhouette Store.
And some yummies for snacking and some for adding to your hot chocolate.
I made Peanut Butter Cookies with heart shapes Reece's Peanut Butter cups on top. Sooooo good!
And a cute little sign made on a tree slice (found at your favorite craft store).
We've got some new mug for the occasion. So fun!
We're not getting any snow or even really cold temperatures. But we're still enjoying hot chocolate!
And we're having fun with our new mug's!

LOVE is...

I had to create my own Valentines Subway Art.
Or better yet, a Subway Art that represents HIS Love or what LOVE is.
In this new house I have two fire places. So that mean double the fun of mantle displays!
I made this heart with buttons on burlap on canvas, last year. Check out my Valentines Day mantle from last year. And yes this is a picture of Ben and I from 1994!
The whole thing (picture, frame and wording around the picture)
was a gift from Ben, way back when!
I think I may take this new Subway Art and display it permanently in my bedroom.
Last year I made this burlap bunting. I so easy and so cute!
I'd love for you to have your own copy of my new "LOVE is"
Subway Art to display in your home.
Click here for the FREE download.
You will need to crop the print first. I designed it for 16 x 20 printing.
The line "always protects" has purposely done in a very faint pink, just to mix it up a bit!
Thanks for stopping by!

Chocolate & Valetines

If you are like me and you like Chocolate, then you LOVE Valentines Day and all the goodies that go with it!  I saw these yummy mini-cupcakes in the February issue of Woman's Day (which I've been getting for free!) and I had to test them out. The pink ones are raspberry, so yummy. And the chocolate ones were more like brownies. I love they way the pink and brown look together-I'm all about the presentation. They were a great little treat for my scrap-booking night with the girls.
