Ice Cream in a Jar

Last weekend we had a little get together with our friends. 
I like to give gifts and found this great idea for party favor treat.
Ice Cream in a Jar
 All you need are these simple ingredients:

  • sugar
  • Rock Salt or sometimes called Ice Cream Salt
  • jar
  • ziplock bags
  • chocolate or vanilla powder
  • individual half and half

    So fun Chessa!! We make our own ice cream in a maker but I might as well make my boys work for their dessert this summer! I've never seen the ice cream mix before...where do you find that? TFS such a fun idea!
