Family Rules

My family is moving this week and 

I'm sad to leave my good friend Jena who cuts my hair.

Jena asked me a while back if I would make her a "Family Rules" sign for her family room. 

 I love the challenge of a new project. And I always say that I'm going to make two (so I can keep one).

This piece is made of a 1/4-2x4 Birch project board and 4-1x2x4. 

I stained the board twice and added a light coat of satin polyurethane.

I made a stencil and then painted all the letters. Now maybe someday I'll make one for myself! Head over here to see more of Jena's house and another project she commissioned me to make.
