The Puppy Party

It's all-things-dog for my puppy lover. In honor of her 6th birthday we planned a Puppy Party and played  "Dog Trainer Says" (Simon Says)- the puppies were rewarded with graham cracker Scooby-Do Bones, Fetch-the puppies had to retrieve rolled-up newspapers and  "Hot-Bone" (Hot Potato). We (me!) made  Cupcake Pops to take to her kindergarten class.
The girls ate cake & ice-cream out of these cute puppy dog bowls from Michael's. We made Puppy Chow and sent it home with the girls in these cute take-out boxes from the Container Store and  Ben found these mini-gumball machines that we turned into "fire hydrants"

Valentines for my nieces

I made Valetines cards for my nieces with my new stamps from Stampin' Up.  A Valetine card and treat all in one.  I made two cards with the mini-goldfish for the little ones who are under 2. And then two of the gumball machines, for those nieces who needed a little extra sugar!

Homemade Valetines from the Heart

My kids and I like to create and craft. I like to encourage them to make their own Valentine's. I find the sweet treats and we create a card around it. For the kindergarten pixie-stick holder we used double-sided scrapbook paper, heart brads, pixie sticks and cute Valentine embellishment (paper with cupcakes on it that we punched out into circle and scallop shapes).

I made these cute little envelopes for Tyler to put
Laffy-Taffy's in...
but he rejected them and just decided to go with the store-bought look.
At least he made one for me.
