The girls ate cake & ice-cream out of these cute puppy dog bowls from Michael's. We made Puppy Chow and sent it home with the girls in these cute take-out boxes from the Container Store and Ben found these mini-gumball machines that we turned into "fire hydrants"

Homemade Valetines from the Heart
My kids and I like to create and craft. I like to encourage them to make their own Valentine's. I find the sweet treats and we create a card around it. For the kindergarten pixie-stick holder we used double-sided scrapbook paper, heart brads, pixie sticks and cute Valentine embellishment (paper with cupcakes on it that we punched out into circle and scallop shapes).
I made these cute little envelopes for Tyler to put
Laffy-Taffy's in...

but he rejected them and just decided to go with the store-bought look.
At least he made one for me.

Chocolate & Valetines
If you are like me and you like Chocolate, then you LOVE Valentines Day and all the goodies that go with it! I saw these yummy mini-cupcakes in the February issue of Woman's Day (which I've been getting for free!) and I had to test them out. The pink ones are raspberry, so yummy. And the chocolate ones were more like brownies. I love they way the pink and brown look together-I'm all about the presentation. They were a great little treat for my scrap-booking night with the girls.

Merry Christmas from the Moores!
Our family in Lexington, Illinois where we were for Christmas this year with the whole Moore clan. We had a great time celebrating and just enjoying to be together. It's so easy to be at Poppi & Nana's house where there is plenty to do with the horses out back and talents shows inside. Merry Christmas!

Halloween
My mother is really the master mind genius behind all sewing creations that come out of my house. Every year she makes the kids their Halloween costumes. They go to the fabric store with her and pick out what they want to be. In a matter of weeks, a packages arrives on our doorstep with her amazing creations.
Katelyn was a sweet bumble bee.

Canvas Bag with Applique Letter
I am a gift giver. And if I can make it for you and you love it all the better. I'm always on the lookout for things on clearance that I can turn into a work of art. Found this black canvas bag at my favorite craft store, Hobby Lobby and made this for my friend. It was a nice little surprise for her and she's using it to carry her Bible Study materials.
